We are trying something that has never been done before in the Christian community, as far as I know. We will actually PAY YOU to refer people to our class, through an on-line Affiliate Program, just as businesses on the internet do.
Why on earth should the WORLD be more generous and more fair-minded than the church? I’m about to change that!
I first thought of this idea in the 1990s when I registered for a $135 Christian weight loss class at church. When I asked the teacher how much she was paid for teaching it, she said ZERO. All the money went back to the ministry that produced the material. Yet this woman worked so hard. I thought she should be paid something! Fair is fair!
Recently, my husband and I went to a financial planning class at church. The fee was around $200. Again, I asked the hardworking facilitator: “Are you being compensated for your time and effort?” Nope. Not one dime!
I think the “workwoman is worthy of her hire.” So if you would like to teach my class at your local church, I will pay you $25 for every student who registers. If you have 20 women, that’s $500 for teaching once a week. Not bad. 40 women? That’s $1,000. That would cover some expenses, wouldn’t it? (BTW, all the women in your class enjoy ALL the benefits of the Exclusive Access Club program)
But I’ll do even better than that. You do not even have to coordinate an actual class to earn $25. Melissa, what is soooooooooo cool is that i was having my doubts. Then the pastor THIS MORNING did an entire message on how the church is totally behind the times in failing to harness technology. He talked about using Facebook, Twitter, all the stuff God led me to do. What a confirmation. Of course, pioneers also get shot at quite a bit 
But that’s okay!
