Shaking in Indonesia Continues – Get INVOLVED
“something’s going on”
Those were among the first words that came over Skype moments ago as I spoke w/Darcy Pierce, Food for the Hungry in Indonesia. Another earthquake has just hit the region+a tsunami warning issued for the entire Pacific region.
Communications are breaking down in many areas. Everyone is in ‘watch and see’ mode; asking God “What is happening here?” No human being can really answer that. But what we can answer is: “What now?”
The answer to “What now?” is reach out and GIVE. We as Christians have an unprecedented opportunity to reach out to this, the largest Muslim country in the world.
Food for the Hungry is uniquely positioned on the frontline of this catastrophe, bringing hope to the hurting. The time to give is now. Pray and ask God what He wants YOU to do in response to what’s happening in Indonesia.
