Prayers Fuel Drug Bust
Many Christians along the Southern border of the United States are beginning to focus prayer on our neighbor, Mexico. Here’s an amazing update from a prayer group here in Arizona. Do remember one thing. When the Colombian government used the same strategy to drive the drug cartels out of their country (in response to the prayers of God’s people, I believe) the traffickers simply moved north…into Mexico. As the Mexican government (in response to the prayers of God’s people) gets serious about defeating the stranglehold of the cartels, you can be certain the traffickers will…head north into the United States, where we can be certain our government will be unable/unwilling to take the kind of drastic measures required to defeat them.
As we pray for Mexico, pray these cartels will be broken not merely relocated north of the border.

"Federal police have arrested Mexico‘s "King of Heroin," a powerful drug trafficker allegedly responsible for running thousands of pounds of heroin into Southern California each year, authorities said Thursday.
Jose Antonio Medina, nicknamed "Don Pepe," was arrested in the western state of Michoacan on Wednesday and is being held for prosecution, said Ramon Pequeno, head of the anti-narcotics division of Mexico’s federal police.
Medina, 36, ran a complex smuggling operation that hauled 440 pounds (200 kilograms) of heroin each month across the Mexican border in Tijuana for La Familia drug cartel, Pequeno said."
During our Message of Hope Border Prayer Tour the last week of January, a consistent declaration by Tom Schlueter of Texas was that at least 25 wicked leaders affecting the border (see Ezekiel 11:1-12) would be stopped by Passover this year. Passover concludes April 5. Dozens of arrests of key drug leaders have already been reported. KEEP PRAYING!
Pastor John Peel reports that bomb blasts have gone off in the cities of Miguel Aleman and Mier and the Mexican government has issued ultimatums to the cartels to… "disarm and get out of the business or else, and that they will be destroyed on site. The Military is attacking anything that remotely looks like a cartel vehicle or individual or their homes or businesses. On the other hand, the radio ministry is having wonderful results and so is the ministry at the Dream Center. Thank you for your prayers."

"Father, the enemy has come in like a flood. We are looking for you to raise a banner of victory, to penetrate these cartels with Your power. Please put Your hand on key leaders, arresting them in their tracks. Send confusion into the enemy’s camp. We ask for a powerful move of the Holy Spirit along and across the border, bringing Your light and love into the darkest places. You hate those who do evil, and we ask for Your protection of the innocent. In Jesus name we pray, Amen."
