This is my favorite picture of my girls, taken when
Leah was 13 & Tara age 7
Donna and the goats, Mark & Luke, descending
from their "journey to higher ground."
Tara riding Brighty the Burro.
In November 2000, Donna returned to Tuscarora, the Lutheran Bretheran Retreat Center where she
encountered God in a life-changing way. It was here, along this very river bank, where Donna heard
God's call to ministry in July 1980.
Tara loves to help out at the book table, patiently waiting
for the day when she can take over at the microphone.
In our family, she is called Donna Part-two.
Donna's handsome husband, Jeff,
working hard at the book table during the
Journey to Hope Summer Series.
Jeff painting a snowman ornament. This demonstrates that,
occasionally, we do SOMETHING other than hang out with our critters!
Leah and her Arabian, Sher King Olav, better known as the Sure King of Love! Aren't they a match
made in heaven? Somebody ought to put these two in a Ralph Lauren commercial!
Here's Bea, our beautiful German Shepherd guard
dog. If you've read This Isn't the Life I Signed Up for,
take note of her kennel in the background : )
