God’s Heart for Bolivia
My departure for Bolivia is just days away and my heart overflows with anticipation. I’ve spent the day sitting at Barnes & Noble with my laptop, listening and writing as God shares HIS heart for Bolivia with me. What a privilege.
The messages He’s giving are coming fast and with great clarity. Thanks for those of you who are praying – God is answering. I sense God is saying: “Hold Your Boundaries. Rebuild Your Walls.” This will be the heartbeat of the message I bring.
Interesting to note: the word boundary, paga in Hebrew, is the same word we translate “intercession.” Boundaries were established by building up a wall of stones.
In Ezekiel, God says, Ezekiel 22:30-31 “I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand before in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found none.” “So I will pour out my wrath on them and consume them with my fiery anger, bringing down on their OWN heads all THEY have done, declares the Sovereign Lord.”
Building up the wall, made of stones, was a way of establishing a boundary. A way of saying to enemies: “Thus far and no farther.”
In the New Testament, we are called to be “Living Stones” declaring through intercession to the enemy of all mankind, “Thus far and no farther.”
This is God’s message for Bolivia…and really, for all of us. It is time for us to BE those Living Stones. It is time for each of us, in our homes, our communities and in our respective nations, to stand in the gap, to raise up a boundary of intercession and declare by faith, “Enemy, you have invaded enough territory. You have done enough stealing, killing and destroying. You can take no more ground. In fact, we insist you yield! Thus far and no farther.”
Join me in praying. Join me in being among the Living Stones standing in the gap on behalf of this beautiful country.
