Don’t Get Scammed: Remember the Two “H’s”
The mainstreaming of the internet has created both good news and bad news for aspiring home-based business
entrepreneurs: that is, someone who wants—or urgently needs– to make some extra money from home.
Good News: Opportunities abound.
Bad News: Scams abound.
To avoid getting scammed, remember the Two “H’s” and you’ll be okay.
HIRE – No legitimate company on the planet will ever advertise to HIRE someone to work from home. Not gonna happen.
Never. No, not ever. Why? Very simple: if a company had a legitimate interest in hiring people to work from home, there
would be an instantaneous pile-up of potential employees just from their current employees and their circles of influence.
The very fact that a company is advertising work from home ”employment” is your first clue that it’s a scam. Think about the
basic law of supply and demand. There are countless millions of people who would love to make some extra money from
home without the risk and hard work of starting their own business. If a company really had work-from-home jobs, they
would never have to advertise. Period.
HAND – No one is going to “hand” you a legitimate business, either. Again, common sense. As soon as you hear
phrases like, “More work than I can handle” or “Looking to train someone” or “Just want to help others duplicate my success,”
run for the door. Or click the mouse. It’s a scam. If this person really had more work than they could handle, their relatives
and friends would be beating their door down to get it on it. But since it’s a scam, and they’ve already driven away all their
friends and relatives, they are on the internet trying to scam you. Don’t be fooled.
Now that we’ve discovered the Two H’s and have dispensed with the delusion that someone is going to hire you or hand you
a home-based business, you are ready to roll up your sleeves and do the hard work of launching your own business from
home!
