to write. Barbara has have five beautiful children ranging in age from 25 to 11. She has spent the last 17 years homeschooling them through elementary school. They are all in school now and she is transitioning to life after homeschool. Barbara has taught Youth Sunday School for 12 or 13 years. She and her husband are in charge of the outdoor ministry with the youth at their home church in Georgia. They go hiking and backpacking, camping and canoeing, white water rafting, and rock climbing...you name it and they have probably done it! Barbara says she is an accidental Women's Bible study leader. She was recruited for the job when the leader had to stop mid-semester due to a family emergency. Barbara then taught Becoming a Vessel God Can Use Barbara has the distinction of being the very first person ever to read Let Your Life Count and says "I I loved it." God then arranged for Barbara to be the first person to teach the study as part of a pilot program, even before the book was released. Out of that opportunity, Barbara created many of the materials for the Leader's Guide. The coming years shall see what God will do with her writing and teaching ministry. Right now she says, " I have felt the Lord calling me to write for a long time but I have been in a "waiting for a go" mode. This year, several things have happened and I feel like I am at a jumping off place to go somewhere new with the Lord. I have been writing through the years, I write prayers for people that the Lord puts on my heart. I am a very ordinary woman, with a desire to go where God leads." I thank God for leading Barbara and I together...and now, leader you here to learn from her teaching materials. We pray they are a blessing to you.
